Who do you guys think is going to emerge as the winner of the SEC?

Hard to bet against LSU, especially if Mettenberger lives up to the hype surrounding his arm. Alabama will be reloading, Georgia will have a good defense and experienced QB, but I think LSU has the most complete team if Mettenberger meets or exceeds expectations. I just don't think Arkansas will emerge from the West after losing Petrino and so much firepower on offense.

What does everyone else think?

It would certainly be tough for Arkansas to emerge, they'd need to replace those WRs, and have the defense take a giant leap forward under new DC Paul Haynes (Ohio State). Alabama may find themselves in the toughest spot replacing virtually an entire defense, and running back Trent Richardson.

I think at least for now, you have to put LSU at the top, and see where things shake out over the course of the season.
