I’m currently splitting my time between Georgia-South Carolina and USF-Florida, and my initial impressions are;
-Florida has some serious offensive line issues. If that wasn’t apparent after Miami-Ohio, it’s glaring now…
-USF’s Mo Plancher runs with great patience and vision, there may be a roster spot for the 6th year senior at the next level.
-South Carolina’s Marcus Lattimore runs with incredible power for a freshman.
-The light seems to have finally come on for South Carolina’s Stephen Garcia. His height will be the biggest knock on him heading into the draft, if he continues to play like this.
-Florida’s Deonte Thompson is rapidly becoming known as a pass dropping machine.
-Brantley has continued to look good when not being let down by the rest of his team.
-Florida safety Ahmad Black is all over the field. Incredible range.
-Jeff Demps has blazing speed, but I’m not a fan of his inside vision and patience. He’s going to have trouble at the next level if he doesn’t allow his blocks to set up when running between the tackles.
I’ll continue to update as the day goes on…
