It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that Andrew Luck tops this list of draft eligible quarterbacks for next season, but we wanted to get some other names out there that have been buzzing around the office.
1. Andrew Luck, 6-4 230, Stanford
2. Ryan Tannehill, 6-4 220, Texas A&M
3. Matt Barkley, 6-2 225, USC
4. Landry Jones, 6-6 230, Oklahoma
5. Ryan Lindley, 6-4 215, San Diego State.
6. Kirk Cousins, 6-3 200, Michigan St
7. Nick Foles, 6-5 245, Arizona
8. Robert Griffin, 6-2 210, Baylor
9. John Brantley, 6-3 221, Florida
10. Brandon Weeden, 6-4 220, Oklahoma State

Love the list Ben!
Solid!
I would rather have Matt Barkley at #2 though. He has done nothing BUT have success since high school. USC isnt in the “spot light” for now but Barkley has the talent edge over L. Jones. Not the size though, I guess thats why Jones is #2??
Then whats up with Pryor?? I didnt see that one coming! I know missing the 1st four games isnt going to help but he has to be higher right?? Just off of his time at Ohio St. now. IDK we will see.
If Cam Newton busts this year Pryor will be a mid round guy next year, but if Cam has a monster season Pryor is a lock for top 5
We won’t be able to get a full sense of Cam Newton’s NFL worthiness for another two years or so. As for Pryor, he’s going to have to make the switch to wide receiver in the NFL. He lobs the ball too much, doesn’t spin it cleanly, doesn’t have the requisite ball velocity to play at the NFL lever, and tends to only make half field reads before taking off.
Where does Kellen Moore fall? Just outside top 10? Size kills him as 6’2″ is the shortest on your list.
Size does really kill Moore’s stock. Moore looks shorter than his listed height, and will struggle to see over the line at the next level.
Drew Brees is 6’0″ and he seems to do just fine. Michael Vick is 6’0″ although he’s got a howitzer attached to his shoulder. Also, are NFL lines really that much taller than college lines? I just don’t see that as being true in big time college football. I think NFL athletes are that much more athletic, but actually height and size wise I don’t see it, hell the top HS teams have O-Lines that approach 300lbs on average.
If Lindley can prove that his intangibles are NFL starting worthy, i can see him having a better career than Luck.
I understand that Chandler Harnish played for a mid major but it doesn’t look like he deserves. What round do the experts have him going?
I meant the love her deserves
